A community supported cleanup of downtown, including pulling weeds, planting, scrubbing and painting. Volunteer for this annual event and help beautify our downtown! Groups are welcome. Sponsors and volunteers are always needed!
Plant Sale & Garden Expo
Held each year to coincide with the spring trials, the event also offers education about water efficient landscaping, composting classes, demonstration of how to build a raised bed garden and assistance from Master Gardeners in addition to selling a wide variety of plants.

Wine & Beer Stroll through downtown Hollister from 1:00 - 5:00. Participating businesses will be paired with a local winery where attendees will be poured a 1 oz. taste of wine. The SDES Portuguese Hall will host the “Queen Coronation” and dance June 3, at 9 p.m., at 695 Seventh St., followed by the parade June 4, at 10 a.m. The parade route begins at the Hall, going East on Seventh Street, North on San Benito Street and West on fifth Street to Sacred Heart Church for the 11 a.m. mass. The mass is followed by the serving of Portuguese sopas, games and auction. A dinner and dance is held at the Hall at 6 p.m. For more information, contact Anthony Silva (831)801-5584.

Parade route starts at Palmtag Drive, heading North on San Benito Street, turning West at Fifth Street and returning to the High School on Monterey Street.
27th Annual Red Ribbon Glow Walk, Run

This is an annual run to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs and alcohol in our community while benefiting prevention efforts in our local schools. We are encouraging the community and families to participate and have FUN, therefore, we will not have a timing company this year. Movie beginning at 8:00pm after the run.
