Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® events are a playful opportunity for men (and women) to raise awareness in their community about the serious causes, effects, and remediations to men's sexualized violence against women. The goal of the event is to bring awareness to the issues of gender violence, child abuse, and sexual assault while promoting positive and healthy gender relations.

Wine & Beer Stroll through downtown Hollister from 1:00 - 5:00. Participating businesses will be paired with a local winery where attendees will be poured a 1 oz. taste of wine. The SDES Portuguese Hall will host the “Queen Coronation” and dance June 8, at 8:30 p.m., at 695 Seventh St., followed by the parade June 9, at 10 a.m. The parade route begins at the Hall, going East on Seventh Street, North on San Benito Street and West on Fifth Street to Sacred Heart Church for the 11 a.m. mass. The mass is followed by the serving of Portuguese sopas and live auction with music to follow after the auction. The last serving of Portuguese soaps is at 6 pm. The Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club will host their 49th Annual endurance run in downtown Hollister. The vintage speedsters will depart from Gateway Drive in northern Hollister after roll call and the national anthem.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. Together, we are making that happen.
